and Gardens and the clean, sandy, child friendly beaches.

restored and decorated, the cottage retains its Victorian feel but
has all the modern comforts needed to enjoy your stay in this beautiful
corner of Dorset.

are polished floorboards with rugs throughout. The main features
of Chapelhay Cottage are:

sitting/dining room with open fireplace and cosy log burning
stove, leather sofas and a beautiful glass topped dining table with
antique church pew benches. TV, video, stereo system, books, videos,
games and tourist information all provided.
kitchen
- modern and well equipped, with fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave,
dishwasher and washing machine (separate dryer under the stairs).
Bathroom-
with large roll top cast iron bath, double basin, toilet and separate
shower cubicle.
Bedrooms
3, sleeping 6 plus cot, all on the first floor. Beautiful
master bedroom with double iron bedstead, feature Victorian fireplace
(non working), wardrobes, tables, lamps and cosy rugs. Second bedroom
with Victorian fireplace, and twin single pine beds. At 2' 6"
these are suitable for children, but at full adult length (6ft 3")
they are likely to be comfortable for many adults too. The third
bedroom has a full size single bed with iron bedhead and pine wardrobe.
A single guest bed fits under the main bed in this room, easily
rolled out to accommodate an additional adult or child.
Small
sunny enclosed garden, with barbecue, pergola and decked area
with table and seating; perfect for relaxing on summer evenings
after a day at the beach or strolling the Dorset hills.
Travel
cot and highchair available on request.
Bed
linen and bath towels can be hired for a small additional charge;
please bring your own cot linen and beach towels.
Children
are welcome; talk to us about your (well-behaved!) pet.
Limited,
free, parking in Franchise Street and adjacent roads. Council (paying)
car parks a minute's walk down the hill.
